Inspired by the “Cool Congregations” event in November here in Phoenix, St. Francis in the Foothills UMC will be hosting its own version of the workshop as well a kick-off for AzIPL in Tucson on April 9th.
In addition, Pima County Interfaith and the Catholic Diocese are planning a solar energy educational event on Feb. 8th at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. Its main focus will be teaching congregations in the area more about using solar energy.
