Becoming S.A.G.E. Interviews

AZIPL is excited to announce the launch of a new interview series called “Becoming S.A.G.E. – Spirited Activists Greening the Earth.” We interview the Sages among us who are engaging in faithful advocacy living out AZIPL’s mission to mobilize people of faith and conscience to care for our common home and work for climate justice.

We live in a time when the world is desperate for sages – wise exemplars who use knowledge and experience to work for justice and care for our common home. “Sage” is one of those wonderful words that has many meanings. Sage is used in cooking to enhance flavors. Sage is used to bless people, places and events. It is the color of green, a sign of water and thriving life in the desert. Finally, sage is a word that means wise.
