Save the Date: Gathering of Movement Builders

In March, AZIPL held a leadership development workshop called “Be the Spark,” which is also taking place in other IPL’s around the country. It was informative, fun, and energizing, and an outgrowth of this workshop is that AZIPL is creating a new organizational structure that we believe will increase our effectiveness in the climate justice movement.
We are currently forming three Action Teams:
Environmental Justice
Food Justice
Renewable Energy
Each team will come together to share individuals’ interests, skills, and involvement in this area as well as awareness of projects and possible partners in this work. From that beginning each team will develop next steps and actions to address relevant issues.
AND YOU ARE INVITED!
The AZIPL Board will work over the summer to activate these teams so that we are ready for action in the fall. Then all who wish to participate in these teams will gather to begin our work.
